The Hong Kong Prize Honors Innovations in Science and Technology
Hong Kong is an energetic international center of culture and innovation, boasting an abundance of talented artists working across a range of art mediums. The Hong Kong Prize recognizes their contributions by honoring them with a prestigious award; this year’s theme, Our Changing World, invites participants to explore global evolution socially, culturally, economically and technologically through their art works.
This year’s HK Prize offers more than its traditional HK$200,000 winner’s prize money; instead there will be two additional awards: one runner-up prize of HK$200,000 and one public vote award for public vote awardees. Winners will have their work displayed at a gallery exhibition in Hong Kong as well as receiving an engraved gold medal award – making this competition an invaluable chance for Hong Kong writers to showcase their talent and gain wider exposure for their works.
The Hong Kong Prize will be administered by the Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation with support from sponsors and partners. It’s an exciting flagship initiative which enhances Hong Kong’s scientific research atmosphere while drawing international recognition to Hong Kong innovations from both mainland China and beyond.

If interested, candidates must submit both their research manuscript and brief abstract along with a submission form by January 1st 2021 for consideration by peer-reviewed journals (meta-analyses/review articles are ineligible).
